Mr. Sahagun is Chairman and CEO of Direct Capital Funding. He is a passionate, energetic and self-motivated entrepreneur with over fifteen years of business experience in Real Estate Finance and Investments. Mr. Sahagun earned his MBA degree from the University of Pepperdine, Malibu California in 2004, with an emphasis in Finance and Real Estate Development. He has started and operated multiple small businesses from a coffee shop in the early 1990’s to a telecommunications construction company in Central America which reached sales of $50million per year and became one of the largest construction companies in the area. Mr. Sahagun has traveled to over 30 countries around the world consulting and negotiating business deals, from South America to Central Congo in Africa.
Mr. Sahagun is an active member of SCORE (Ventura Chapter) and teaches Entrepreneurships classes at National University for WEV (Women’s Economic Ventures (www.wevonline.org). He is also part of other nonprofit organizations helping local small businesses in the area. He coaches individuals on building wealth through Real Estate and business ownership.

Genuine customer service is his key focus, coupled with communication and product knowledge. Edward has strived throughout his career to help clients understand the mortgage industry and process.
